My Answer:

While I normally read one book at a time, sometimes I do start reading another book. For example, I might start reading a children's book while I'm already reading an adult novel. Or I might multitask by reading a few chapters in a novel and then read a story in an anthology or short story collection.

  1. I am horrible at reading monogamously and always have several books started. I think that's part of why I rarely DNF books because I can just put them down and pick something else up if they're not working for me right then.

Have a great weekend. - Katie

  2. I can read short anthologies while reading another book but I can't immerse myself in two fantasies for example. A court of thorns and Roses + Six of Crows Idkr. My brain doesn't expand that wide? lol

  3. I normally have far too many books going but I do really like keeping them all as different as possible.

  6. Great answer! I also read a childrens book or even a comic here and there when I'm already reading another book :)

  7. Yes, different styles of books work for me too. I'd be less likely to read two similar works at the same time.
