My Answer:
There are many authors that I don't care for. One that comes to mind is Danielle Steel. I don't recall the title, but I attempted to read one of her books several years ago and I couldn't finish the first chapter, as the narration was written badly.

ReplyDeleteI've updated the "question page" with new questions for January, February, and March 2019. However, we still need more questions for next year. Please send in your Book Blogger Hop questions by using the "form" link in this week's hop post.
I've made a few adjustments for the 2019 schedule. I moved three of the questions from January to April and added three new questions that were submitted by Elizabeth to January.
DeleteI've read a few Danielle Steele, but it's been many years. Most of the authors on my list are there because I just tend to not prefer their genre.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. - Katie
I don't read many authors due to not being an avid reader. There are authors whose novels just overwhelm me like Jay Kristoff and Kelley Armstrong. I just can't because there are too many! I also tend to only read fantasy/paranormal type books because I can't stand reading contemporary fiction and real people, real life, real problems. I have that already in spades k thanks. At least if not in life, in my head :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not so much I won't adamantly read an author's work, there are just certain genres I won't read. Or even if the book is in my genre of choice, the story might not call out to me and I won't ever pick it up and the trend continues on and on with the same author so I'll likely never read their books. Nora Roberts is probably one of them since her books hold no interest for me.

I'm not a big fan of Danielle Steele either. I think I've only read one or two.
