My Answer: 

 Yes, I can multitask by reading and watching television at the same time; though I would rather turn off the TV, so I can have peace and quite while I'm reading.

    Same for me...I am good with the TV on and a book in my hands. :)

    I can tune out the TV but I"m not sure I could read AND Watch TV. Impressive!

    I find it too distracting. I glance up at the TV and the next thing I know, I've stopped reading.

    I get so caught up in a book sometimes that the tv is just there as white noise, so in order to save on bills I just turn it off

    I can read with the TV on in the background no problem or read during commercials and watch when the show is on, but I cannot read and watch TV at the exact same time. Now blog and watch TV at the same time . . . That I can do.

    TV is one thing I can't tune out, no matter how much I want to, be it in a restaurant, waiting room, or what have you. :P
