My Answer:
Yes, I want to write a book one day. A few of my children short stores have been published in magazines, e-zines, and anthologies. I'm trying to talk myself into participating in the National Novel Writing Month this year in November.

That's great that you have had short stories published. I wish I had the talent.
ReplyDeleteYou really should try it! I have never been successful in writing a whole novel in a month but it does make me try! :)
ReplyDeleteYou don't necessarily have to write for the whole month, you just need to write 50,000 words or more before November is over. I'm going to have my story planned out before Nov. 1st (aka the characters, plot, etc.).
DeleteNice that your short stories have been published. CONGRATS!!
ReplyDeleteENJOY your weekend.
Happy Hopping!!

My Blog Hop Answer
Billy, CONGRATS on having your short stories published!! Now all you need is that extra push in order to write a novel! So do try to join NANOWRIMO in November!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm currently brainstorming plot ideas for a book. I'm wanting to write a Harlequin-like romance. I just got approved to review several Harlequin titles through NetGalley; hopefully this will help me figure out how I want to go about writing my own book.
DeleteSounds great, Billy!! I LOVE romance, and we need more guys (besides Nicholas Sparks, lol) writing romance!! Just keep us all posted on when you will get this book published!! :)
DeleteI wrote short stories when I was in highschool but never tried to publish them. I still have them somewhere. I kinda would love to get back into writing again but might have to wait another year or so but we will see. Congrats on getting your short stories published. Hope you have a great weekend.
