Ending a book I loved is sad and beginning a new one is apprehensive for me. What about you?

My Answer: 

It all depends on how emotionally connected I am to the characters. Though I never get sad about a book, I have been somewhat disappointed when a good book series ends. Then again, I can always reread the book(s).

    It only makes me really sad ending a book when the author killed one of my favorite characters. Lol!

    Good point about a series. Though sometimes with the really long ones I just feel a sense of relief at having finally made it to the end.

    I think I do get more upset about a series ending than a book as well. I guess a series gives me longer to connect with the characters.

    When I love the characters, it is difficult for me to end the book.
