My Answer:
No. I don't think I would want to visit a location that was featured in a book, as when I'm reading I have created a specific picture of the location in my mind and I'm afraid I'll be disappointed when I see it in person.

My Blog Hop Answer
I can see how some settings are probably embellished and not as romantic and/or beautiful as in the books.
ReplyDeleteI rarely travel, so I haven't visited any of my favorite novels' settings, but I do have a wish list of places to visit in my post on the Blog Hop.
Happy hopping!
I know that a lot of the small towns I read about would definitely not live up to expectations!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you Memories of a Geisha was dead on. LOL!
