My Answer:
I don't think I have ever read a book that has been translated to English. I have picked up the The Millennium trilogy (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest) by the late Stieg Larsson at a thrift store, but I haven't gotten around to reading them yet.

ReplyDeleteMe neither!
DeleteI read a lot of translations as a kid because I'm not English, but now there's not that many of them left although I try quite hard to read more translations! I like knowing what people write about in other countries! Thanks for hosting :)

I have only read one book in translation. It was very well done.
ReplyDeleteIt was Shadow of The Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Loved it.
Have a great day and great weekend.

My Blog Hop Answer
I have heard good things about the author.
DeleteI have read a few Russian classics in translation and then tried a book recently that had been translated from Spanish to English. I didn't enjoy it but I'm not sure if that's the translation or the book itself.
ReplyDeleteI think the last book I read in translation were the Ruby Red Trilogy.
